You There!

Hey E-Dog,
I know I am only 7 years older than you, but I’ve managed to learn some things:

1. I know you look young now, but in 7 years people will still think that you are 17.
2. I know you think you can change the world because your smart, but you cannot. You need God’s help so start praying more now.
3. I would tell you who you will fall in love with and when, but that would take all of the fun and adventure out of it.
4. When you get that summer job that pays you way more than you deserve, know that it only happens one time and you need to save for traveling and marriage so don’t blow it all on candy and electronics.
5. Don’t worry about being late to Spanish class all the time; your professor is going to give you an A no matter what. But you should go to other classes. Except for Stat.
6. Read more for your classes in college! Don’t be such a bum. Reading will sharpen your brain and enable you to have worthwhile conversations in class that could change people’s lives.
7. You will have some tough experiences, but trust God because all of them work out well. He’s got a plan. Praise him no matter what and persevere.
8. Ride your bike.
9. Be more proactive about hanging out with other people. Sure, it is easier to stay at home and play Star Fox 64, but in the end you need better friends than Slippy and Falco.
10. Stop hoping you will see a sports team you like win a National Championship for the next seven years.
